Our Approach: Ethical Management & Humane Dispatch
At Dixie's Dispatch, we have a profound respect and love for wildlife, and we operate under a strict trapper's code of ethics. We take no pleasure in dispatching any creature; we view it as a heavy responsibility rather than a casual task.
When severe human-wildlife conflicts arise, responsible wildlife management requires making difficult, necessary decisions to protect Central Florida's local ecosystem, agriculture, and community.
Work With Our Family Today🥩 Meat Harvesting
We process healthy wild hogs to yield high-quality, human-edible meat. Additionally, we safely harvest nutrient-dense cuts from healthy hogs, coyotes, and raccoons to provide premium-grade food for working dogs.
🦴 Hides, Fur & Skeletal Preservation
Pelts and furs are carefully tanned for durable boar pelt pet cage mats, traditional stretched mounts for coyote and raccoon, and custom archery bow string silencers. Skulls are cleaned for European mounts and hands-on community education.
♻️ Zero-Waste Natural Bait Production
Rather than discarding remaining biological byproducts from healthy harvests, we repurpose them to craft our own highly effective, all-natural in-house predator bait (used strictly for our internal trapping operations and never for retail sale).
🛡️ Sanitary Disposal When Diseased
Health and bio-safety always come first. If a captured nuisance animal exhibits visible disease, severe parasites, or health risks making it unfit for processing, it is classified as a total loss and double-bagged for safe disposal.
🤝 Community Impact & Giving Back
Because our full-utilization model keeps operating costs low, we pass those savings directly back to our clients. This allows us to offer competitive pricing, provide charitable wildlife removal to locals in desperate need, and actively support organizations close to our hearts—including the FFA, FWC, and working dog rescues.
🐗 1. Wild Hogs (Primary / Non-Native)
Feral hogs are an invasive, destructive species that reproduce rapidly, decimate native Florida habitats, destroy crops and pastures, and cause massive soil erosion. Eradicating them is essential for native wildlife survival.
🐺 2. Coyotes (Secondary / Naturalized)
As highly adaptable predators, coyotes have increasingly moved into residential neighborhoods, HOAs, and agricultural spaces—posing a direct threat to family pets, livestock, and vulnerable native species.
🦝 3. Raccoons & Small Nuisance (Tertiary / Health Risk)
Raccoons are a primary vector for dangerous diseases like rabies and roundworm, and cause extensive, costly damage to home exteriors, soffits, attics, and lawns when seeking shelter or grubs.
